Join us for this month's topic about make-up!

Special guest, Laura (Make It Up with Laura), will be sharing tips and skills about make-up for participants.

Laura has half a lifetime of personal experience with makeup.

"Five years ago I joined a cosmetic company because I wanted all their long lasting lipstick colours. I then fell in love with the range and decided to get serious about makeup. Since then, I've participated in trainings, both as student and teacher, expanded my knowledge of techniques and trends, given makeovers, and recently dabbled in costume/cosplay makeup."

Novus is an ongoing series of peer-education workshops run for and by Trans women. The workshops provide Trans women with opportunities for connection in a safe social space. Potential topics may include navigating relationships and dating, self-care, activism, cooking classes, or hormones and surgery 101.

The workshops typically run on the third or last Thursday of every month. They are facilitated by Trans women who are Thorne Harbour Health volunteers, and members of the community – giving you that true peer to peer experience.

Please register your interest here or email peer.ed@thorneharbour.org

Trans women who feel aligned with any of the other peer workshops are welcome to also attend those groups too.
