Seeking EOI for Mental Health Advisory Committee

Thorne Harbour Health (THH) is looking for LGBTIQ+ people with lived experience of a mental health condition to establish a mental health policy advisory committee.
Complete an Expression of Interest
In the next nine months, this committee will inform our government engagement with key mental health reforms in Victoria and will co-develop our organizational-wide mental health policy position.
For this committee, we are looking for participants from a diversity of backgrounds and service experiences.
We welcome expressions of interest from people who meet the following criteria:
- over 18 years old
- currently reside in Victoria
- self-identify as LGBTIQ+
- have lived experience of a mental health condition
Thorne Harbour Health is committed to ensuring that the Committee reflects a diversity of backgrounds and service experiences. Selection to the Committee will be based on this criteria.
Expressions of interest close 5PM (AEST) on 27 October 2022.

This is a newly created role that reflects our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our LGBTIQA+ communities in Adelaide.Rebecca emigrated to Adelaide from the North of England with her wife Kylie and four children just under 5 years ago. After marrying in England, Rebecca and Kylie closely watched the marriage equality vote in Australia, hoping it would pass so they could bring their family down under. They’ve fallen in love with Adelaide and wouldn’t want to be in any other state.
