The LGBTIQ+ Women’s Health Conference focuses on the health and wellbeing needs of all LGBTIQ+ women within Australian communities. The event offers a range of opportunities to discuss, engage and explore these health needs as well as profile new and emerging research, innovative programs, and services being delivered.

The LGBTIQ Women’s Health Conference is proudly co-presented by Thorne Harbour Health and ACON. The inaugural conference took place in Melbourne in 2015, presented by VAC before partnering with ACON in 2016, and has since expanded to a two-day conference.
The Conference explores a broad range of health areas specific to LGBTIQ women, inclusive of all intersectionalities, such as (but not limited to):
- alcohol and other drugs
- sexual health
- mental health
- cervical and breast screening
- family violence
