Join us in person or online for a thoughtful and engaging panel exploring First Nations health and wellbeing during National Reconciliation Week 2026.

This session will centre Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, with a focus on LGBTIQ+SB communities (Rainbow Mob), and the importance of culturally safe, inclusive health practices. Panellists will share insights on community-led approaches to wellbeing, key challenges, and how organisations like Thorne Harbour Health can better support First Nations communities.
Discussion topics include:
- First Nations health and wellbeing in practice
- Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+SB communities (Rainbow Mob)
- Strengthening partnerships and accountability in health services
This event will reflect on National Reconciliation Week: deepening understanding, strengthening relationships, and taking meaningful action toward health equity and self-determination.
External community organisations will also be joining the conversation.
Light catering will be provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch.
