Drink Limits is our support group for lesbian, bi+, and queer women (cis and trans) looking to change their alcohol use. It doesn’t matter what age you are, or how much you drink – if alcohol isn’t working for you, this group can help.

We know that queer women use alcohol at higher rates to straight women, and surprisingly they’re also less likely to reach out for support. That’s why we need a specialised group for LBQ women and femmes to come together and share their experiences, understand their relationship to alcohol and take steps towards any changes they might want.
Peer spaces are the heart of the group. Peer connections help craft a space that’s supportive, understanding, and empowering, allowing us to address the unique needs and experiences within the queer community. Our group format is all about participation, sharing, listening, and coming together with curiosity to deepen our understanding of ourselves.
Our intake team are super friendly and ready to have a chat with you about all our support options. They can help figure out if a group program is the right fit for you and your needs.
Drink Limits runs every Tuesday at Thorne Harbour Health in Abbotsford for eight weeks.
