Affirming Ideas TGD Social Group - Creative Art Therapy Session

This creative art therapy session with our Art Therapist Shay (she/her) is for trans & gender diverse people 26 or over living in Melton.

The way we understand and express ourselves and our identities can be both deeply personal and also public.

Sometimes it can feel like we're putting on a mask (or a lot of different masks), while sometimes it can feel like we're taking the mask off and showing the world what's underneath.

As part of our Affirming Ideas Trans & Gender Diverse Social Group (sponsored by Transgender Victoria), this session will explore this part of the trans experience.

Each participant will be encouraged to decorate the inside and outside of a paper mask with beautiful craft materials, in a supportive and affirming environment with our qualified art therapist, LGBTIQA+ specialist mental health workers, and other community members.

Come together, connect with other local trans & gender diverse community members, and explore identity and expression through art.
