Seeking Faces for new Breast Screening Campaign

09 Apr 2021
Alongside BreastScreen Victoria, Thorne Harbour Health is working on a new campaign and needs your help in finding volunteers to take part.
Get Involved
If you or someone you know is interested, you would be one of the faces of the campaign to ensure authenticity and relatability, with images and short videos used in advertising, social media and other collateral (postcards, posters, etc.). With the support of BreastScreen Victoria staff, you would need to have a level of comfort talking about your experience of breast/chest screening and why it is so important to screen.
The Picture of Health campaign is a digital campaign all about boosting awareness of breast/chest screening amongst the LGBTI+ community and encouraging the participation of eligible Victorians. The campaign celebrates the faces of LGBTI+ community members aged 50-74 – captured in Polaroid pictures. The photos and videos will be used in digital advertising, social media, GP offices and posters/postcards.
We are looking for people to take part in a photo and video shoot. In the video shoot you will be asked about your experience with breast/chest screening. LGBTI+ community members aged between 50-74 are able to take part.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
If you’d like to take part - email us.
You will need to be available for approximately half-day photo and video shoot in mid-late April.
