Call for Board Member Nominations

The Victorian AIDS Council (VAC) and Gay Men’s Health Centre (GMHC), trading as Thorne Harbour Health, are seeking visionary and capable people who work well with others to nominate for election to two vacancies on the VAC Board of Directors and two vacancies on the GMHC Board of Directors.
This is an opportunity to play an important leadership role in Thorne Harbour Health and to participate in the organisations at an exciting time. The Board particularly encourages people living with HIV, women and gender diverse people to apply to ensure the Board reflects the community it serves.

Nominations must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 5:00pm Friday, 12 October 2018
at Thorne Harbour Health, Level 5, 615 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004.
The election will take place by postal vote, closing 6.00pm Friday, 23 November 2018
Results will be announced at the VAC/GMHC Annual General Meeting on Sunday 25 November 2018, starting at 6PM.

Introducing Medicare-Subsidised Counselling
Thorne Harbour Health is proud to launch Under the Rainbow, our new Medicare-subsidised counselling service. At just $50 per session, this new offering expands on our existing free mental health counselling, helping us support more members of our LGBTIQA+ communities. We have a new dedicated psychologist available for this program.
