Get ready to make a splash with Thorne Harbour Health (THH) as we dive into the vibrant return of the Queer Pool Party for Midsumma Festival 2026! This year, Prahran Pool will be the ultimate hotspot, brimming with exciting entertainment and lively activities. Whether you're floating with friends, dancing to live beats, or soaking up the sun, this event promises a fabulous time for everyone.

The Thorne Harbour Health Queer Pool Party is your chance to celebrate the Midsumma season in style, connecting with the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in a fun, inclusive environment. From fabulous pool floats to a complimentary barbecued sausage, we’ve got everything to keep the party going. Shade and sunscreen are provided so you can stay cool and protected while you party.

What to expect:

1. Performances by drag excellence Eliza Lot and a sun-soaked disco DJ set from Butch Le Butch
2. Bumpa Polo games run by the Melbourne Surge Water Polo team
3. The annual charity swim race between THH, Switchboard, Victorian Pride Centre and LGBTIQ+ Victorian Commissioner’s Office, supported by the Glamourheads.
4. DJ hour to sunbathe, boogie or let the donut float take you away
5. A complimentary BBQ sausage and icy pole.
