Let's get life drawing! This FREE online life drawing class is open for queers of all shades and stripes. The classes are fun, safe, playful, and suitable for peeps with all levels of drawing experience.

Queers Draw This was started by artist and ex-life model, Mayhem (aka Margaret Mayhew) during the COVID lockdown, hiring local performers PopoMoco (and other queer performers) to pose on Zoom and later live classes in Coburg, Footscray Community Arts in 2019 and Thorne Harbour Health in 2020. Queers Draw This also held an exhibition and class as part of Midsumma 2021. Mayhem studied and practiced drawing for 25 years and completed a PhD on life drawing. They have taught drawing in community centres, post-graduate design courses, immigration detention centres and the National Gallery of Victoria.
