As part of Thorne Harbour Health’s Pride & Culture program, we’re celebrating queer South Asian creativity and connection with three events to choose from — two performances of Act Like a Man, and the QSAM Diwali Party that follows.

Act Like a Man:
When culture, queerness, and chaos collide in suburban Melbourne, the result is Act Like a Man — a bold, funny and heartfelt new stage production by Keon Saidd.
At the centre of it all is Kabir, a young South Asian actor navigating the expectations of family, faith and authenticity — not to mention an aunt determined to find him the “perfect bride.” With infectious dance numbers and powerful performances, Act Like a Man celebrates love, identity, and the courage to live your truth.
