Join Yellow Kitties and Gay Asian Proud, in partnership with Thorne Harbour Health, for a vibrant Queer Lunar New Year celebration honoring queer Asian diaspora communities in Melbourne.

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, come together for an afternoon of cultural festivities, live performances, and social connection in a joyful and affirming space. This event is a chance to celebrate identity, heritage, and community — centering queer Asian voices and experiences.

Working alongside LGBTIQ+ multicultural and faith-based community groups, this program supports the health and wellbeing of people with diverse cultural and faith identities within the LGBTIQ+ community. Our goal is to create events that amplify multicultural and faith-based LGBTIQ+ voices, providing opportunities to celebrate culture, identity, and spirituality while connecting with others.

We recognize that people from multicultural and faith backgrounds often face unique challenges in finding supportive spaces.
