Learn to take stunning photos at this outdoor workshop and walking tour in Melbourne CBD. Make new friends at a group lunch afterwards.

This 2-hour outdoor workshop (10am - 12noon) will encompass a guided photography tour of the East side of Melbourne CBD. Meet at the Eight Hour Day Monument at Eight Hour Reserve (corner of Victoria Street and Russell Street), and walk past several points of historical and cultural interests on the way to Degraves Street (final stop). Along the way, pick up tips on creating stunning street photos, and learn photography basics like depth of field, lighting, and subject focus. Expect to be rewarded with many memorable photos and smart street photography tips.
Participants must bring their own camera to use during this practical session. Any photographic equipment can be used e.g. smartphone camera, digital camera, DSLR, film. The workshop tips are compatible with and can be adapted to suit most photographic equipment.
After the workshop concludes at 12noon, meet old and new friends at a group lunch at Tian38, a Singaporean restaurant (350 Flinders Lane, Melbourne).

This event is open to all same sex-attracted Asian men (cis and transgender), their partners, families and friends. All participants must register at Eventbrite to confirm their places.
