- Jasmine, a local transgender woman is joining us to speak about the difficulties growing up in a world where, sexuality, gender identity and sexual abuse were hidden from the world because it was too difficult to understand. Jasmine will share her story with you about her journey finding herself in her difficult life.
- Benjamin MacEllen is a memoirist, actor, lyricist, and activist who has been writing stories, songs, poems and plays since he was a little girl named Susan. He writes and speaks extensively about his experience as a transgender man which is also the focus of his memoir, A Cut Closer to Whole. He was a semi-finalist at the World Championship of Public Speaking in Chicago (2018). In his speaking engagements, both in person and in the media, he advocates for better understanding of LGBTIQ+ issues.
