World AIDS Day 2018
Every year on 1 December, World AIDS Day reminds us that HIV Still Matters and it's important that we know the facts about HIV. Wearing a red ribbon is just one small way of raising awareness and showing our support for people living with HIV.

World AIDS Day is internationally recogised to raise awareness in the community about HIV and AIDS related issues, including the need to support people living with HIV (PLHIV) as well as the need for the development and implementation of education and prevention resources and activities.
The theme for 2018 in Victoria is HIV Still Matters and you'll see Thorne Harbour Health volunteers around Melbourne on both Friday 30 November and on World AIDS Day on Saturday 1 December. Our dedicated volunteers will be distributing Red Ribbons and raising funds. They should be easy to spot in their HIV Still Matters t-shirts and buckets.
