Marriage equality has become a reality in Australia, but the struggle for marriage equality brought with it homophobia, bi-phobia and trans-phobia. The impact of this continues to be felt within LGBTIQ communities - including our community activists.

Community activists across the country invested their time, knowledge, skills and spirit in the campaign for marriage equality. Debrief sessions aim to offer a supportive space for community activists to explore ways they might make meaning of what has transpired, and take steps to look after themselves as they contemplate the next steps for themselves and their communities.
